How The Hell Is It May Already?!

The months are starting to fly past terrifyingly quickly now. We suppose, hosting 3-5 events a week is bound to have an impact. A blur of adrenaline fuelled gigs and events, a near empty cellar and some completely crackered staff members, seems to be our end-of-week new normal! But whilst it is undeniably awesome, there is still SO much we want to do, being complacent isn't an option. We know now that we have created a monster, an utterly awesome BEAST!!!! There is no taming it, we just need to nurture it to it's full potential and ride that bad boy 'til it's journeys end. So buckle up!!!

We are happy to once again report that last week was utterly EPIC! It's hard to know how a bank holiday will pan out. Sometimes every man & his wife takes the extra day off work as a good excuse to frequent their nearest alcohol-selling establishment, but sometimes people go away on holiday, host BBQ's in their gardens or make plans that don't involve propping up our bar. So whilst we weren't turning people away on the door (which is often the case on a busy Saturday night), we were really grateful to be busy pretty much all week. On Wednesday we saw the return of Castle Comedy and it was brilliant (as always)! Thursday we had the trial of our Jam Night, so now we have had a practice run, we know what needs tweaking moving forward to make this an awesome regular event. Friday saw yet another fantastic Hip Hop Lounge with so much fresh talent stepping up to the mic. Saturday Bad Hombre played a fantastic soundtrack for a room full of boppers! And Sunday we had debut gig from Leighton based punk band, Audio Nasties and we were jam packed! So all in all, a brilliant week!

We are pleased to report that our online merch shop is now OPEN! So now you can support your favourite independent venue whilst looking cooler than an arctic foxes butt cheeks!

We will be launching our Pie & Mash Up weekends THIS WEEK!!! Our Pies Nest will be landing at The Crooked Crow Bar this Saturday and Sunday 12-4pm.

We have an EPIC week lined up this week! Check this out:
